How does one embody Christ Consciousness?
If you could receive one guidance about the process of awakening is that there is no process.
Process is an idea created by the mind. The mind clings to steps to find balance among chaos.
When we name our feelings like love, excitement, anxiety or anger, we draw upon memories of events, during which that emotion had been experienced. Love cannot be understood without tapping into a memory of what we understood to feel love.
How can we describe Christ Consciousness? We can read about it in Holy Books. We can listen to stories of ones that attained it. However, we cannot attain Christ Consciousness by using the mind. We cannot talk about something and BE something simultaneously.
So we set an intention, meditate, pray, “be good”, think positively- and that helps the mind. Because the mind creates separation between God and ourselves. Because we somehow feel we must strive to be better, or do more in order to achieve it. What if we already possess it? What if we’re standing at the bridge between our self and our God-self? We cannot talk, because the mind cannot fathom. We can just feel. We can just allow.
Sure, practice will shed the constraints of the mind to feel our deservance of it. As we shed the constraints of the mind, we put it at peace. Our hearts take over and we begin to feel. We begin to embody. We begin to BE. And still, this doesn’t come close to describing it, because words are not made to experience it.
